Applied AI Architect
The Lockheed Martin Artificial Intelligence Center (LAIC) team is seeking a high energy professional with subject matter expertise in software engineering, artificial intelligence and computer vision to drive AI innovation and adoption across the enterprise.
Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field with a focus on AI/ML and computer vision
• 10+ years of experience in AI/ML development
• Broad experience in the application and state of AI across multiple lines of business and customer programs in a large enterprise or government position
• Cross-domain technical leadership experience in AI, software, multiple engineering disciplines, and multiple application spaces including computer vision, guidance, autonomy, or edge processing.
• Experience leading large teams dedicated to developing, maturing and transitioning innovative AI capabilities to programs of record
• DoD TOP SECRET security clearance or ability to obtain
• Must be a US Citizen
Desired Skills:
• PhD in Engineering with a focus on AI/ML related field
• Prior AI S&T CRAD capture and successful execution experience with proven track record of next-phase awards and CRAD-to-PoR transition
• Experience designing, verifying, and deploying AI capabilities under USG Programs of Record
• Ability to develop and implement technical roadmaps across large organizations with measured success
• Hands on experience implementing and leading the implementation of AI software for production applications
• Experience with multiple sensing modalities including full motion video in EO and IR, passive and active radio-frequency, Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR), and state of the art novel sensing techniques
• SCI security clearance or ability to obtain
