Medical Records Assessor

You will provide pre-entry medical scrutiny of Candidates’ Primary Health Care Records and Recruitment Group Medical Declaration for the Army as required by contract and in compliance with the standards mandated by the military medical standards, as laid down in the Joint Service Publication (JSP 950), as well as single service variance and Capita guidelines.
You will be based from home with an assigned office of Upavon, Brighton, Coventry or Cardiff, depending on your location. You will be required to travel to your assigned office for training as and when required.
This is a secondment/fixed term contract role until May 2026.
Requirements
- UK-registered healthcare professional (e.g. Nurse, Paramedic, Physiotherapist)
- Current registration with NMC or HCPC, without restrictions
- Post-registration experience in a clinical role
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to type approximately 8 cases per day
- Team-oriented with good interpersonal skills
- Willingness to travel to assigned office for training when required
