Senior Manager, Employer Solutions at KPMG UK

We are looking for someone with experience in Employment Tax and a strong background, in this area. It would be great if you have worked in Practice or HMRC before.

Having a CTA, ACA, CPA or CA qualification is a plus. Not necessary.

You should be able to come up with solutions to complex problems and make sound technical and commercial decisions.

You should be able to keep going even when things get tough and find business opportunities.

You should take responsibility for your work and show others how to do things right.

You should be able to handle pressure at work and keep an attitude.

You should always be looking to learn and grow and be able to give directions and feedback to others.

This job has important parts, including:

Managing different kinds of employment solutions projects from big strategic projects to checking for risks and opportunities.

Making sure employers are doing things right like checking employment status doing PAYE health checks and getting SAO certification.

Taking charge of winning, managing and delivering work to a standard and meeting deadlines.

Dealing with project delivery including keeping track of work, billing and risk procedures and thinking about the commercial implications of difficult decisions.

Reviewing work. Helping junior colleagues learn and grow.

Building relationships with clients. Finding new business opportunities.

Leading local marketing efforts.
